If you missed the opening of Brigan Gresh’s installation “Snowed” at Stardust, don’t feel bad…..there wasn’t one. She didn’t feel an opening was necessary. But the work will be up until the end of September. Night or evening is recommended. Here’s a teaser pic:

Dear Artists,

Hope you all are having a wonderful summer and continuing to create beautiful art. The time is rapidly approaching for the new season of CityArts Factory’s Lake Eola Art Farm. Our first official day will be October 19th, 2008, from 10am-4pm. This will be a BIG day, and we plan on filling the bridge entirely with artists.

I am starting to book visual artists for Art Farm now! Please let me know if you’re interested in participating. All artists who supported us last year are in for this year. If you have not yet participated, and you haven’t sent me pictures of your art yet, please do so now. Space is limited, so don’t delay. Our procedures are still the same. If you would like to view them, please go to www.myspace.com/orlandoartfarm and check out our blog section. All artists must apply and receive approval before showing their art at the Art Farm.

I’m so excited about the new season. It’s going to be better than ever. I hope you will continue to support this grass roots effort to grow local culture.
