About B.A.S.E. Camp Children’s Cancer Foundation
Established in Orlando in 1982, the B.A.S.E. Camp mission is to provide year-round support for children and families who are facing the challenge of living with cancer and other life-threatening hematological illnesses. Their programs focus on “being normal” by inviting the children to participate in peer group activities.
B.A.S.E. Camp has a double meaning. It is an acronym for Believe, Achieve, Support, & Educate. The second facet of B.A.S.E. Camp provides weekly hospital-lunch delivery, monthly overnight camps, parent-support groups, clinic parties, and weekly events that help children through the toughest days of treatment. They are located at 140 North Orlando Avenue in Winter Park. Call 407-673-5060 or visit www.BASECamp.org

One day only! August 2nd! Vito at Stardust! Photography! Performance!…….And cooking!
As written by Vito:
Okay, detailed info about the show. It will be called ARTIFACTS and will be from the late morning to late afternoon in the room with the stage. There will be 6 or 7 large prints on display. And there will also be 4 or 5 um..objects on display. I’m trying not to give it all away.
Also I want to serve Ecuadorian style plantanos maduros and special recipe porridge - both of which should agree with a vegan diet. Background musical score selection will be 70’s and 80’s classic soul and R&B. There will be CD’s with mp3s available for free, if one likes the music. And a bistro set will be set up by the serving table, should anybody want to stay and chat with me.
And Im still working on the Triscults, not sure if that will go through or not because they’re now working on a movie o_O.
In conclusion, the point of all of this is to open the minds of the people who frequent stardust to new ideas and perspectives. The basic underlying theme of it all is simple creativity. Its difficult for me to elaborate any more than that…the pieces speak for themselves.
Multi-talented artist Brian Adams opens his solo show at Stardust on August 9th at 7pm.

New work solo show opens August 2nd at 7pm. The show will remain for the month of August.
