Brigan Gresh opens her first solo show of 2010 on March 18th. Entitled “Force Feeding", the exhibit will show at the City Arts Factory in Orlando, Florida.
It consists entirely of her latest works on canvas.

This is a mixed media series of five 48″ x 48″ canvases. A slightly darker series for Brigan Gresh. She examines the moment that light and dark meet and, if possible, what forces will make one overcome the other. It is full of contradiction, questions and oddities.
Which came first?
How do light and dark dissipate?
Once one becomes the other, does it watch itself?
Brigan Gresh asks the viewer to sit and watch the moment and place their bets.

The show runs from March 18th to April 12th, 2010.

The opening reception is March 18th, from 6pm to 9pm, coinciding with Third Thursday.
Brigan will be present at the opening.

Andrew White opens his first solo show of 2010 on January 21st. Entitled “Coalescence", the exhibit will show at the City Arts Factory in Orlando, Florida.
It consists of a collection of his latest oils and mixed media on canvas that range in size from 12″x24″ to 48″x72″.

Andrew describes: “In this series, I am examining the relationships of the figure, portrait, and landscape and entwining them on a single surface. Each piece has multiple transparent layers and depths to create a dialogue within the subject matter.”

The show runs from January 21st to February 14th, 2010.

The opening reception is January 21st, from 6pm to 9pm, coinciding with Third Thursday.
Andrew will be present at the opening.

Juicy Salon: Drew White’s “Airborne, Grounded and a Polar Bear”

From their invite: “Many of you may remember the flying/floating/falling bunny series that Drew White exhibited in Orlando a few years back…well, he’s at it again with another delightful series. As the Juicy Temples Salon series moves forward in promoting local arts and artists, we couldn’t be happier than to exhibit the work of a good friend and colleague.
Come celebrate with us and share in the surreal delight that is stuffed bunnies floating and falling through soft clouds. We’ll have libations and snacks (perhaps carrots?)
The show will hang for the entire month of December, so if you can’t make it to the party, then please be sure to stop in later for a look-see.”
